Tools like WordPress, or Webflow, or Shopify, or Squarespace, or Wix all have their place, but they're not for everyone. You're often at the mercy of their subscription fees nickel and diming you everywhere, or become subject to slow or ugly themes.
Some of those are better than the rest, and they are cheaper to get set up, but with a custom-coded site: you own your website entirely. It also costs less per month to run.
This eliminates the fear of your site "breaking" during a forced third-party update, or being kicked off because someone at the company didn't like something you said. But with with a custom coded website or full stack web development solution: they're powerless to do anything against you. Same with custom software development.
Websites need SEO, and if you need to drive sales: you need ads.

IMPORTANT: everything below is subject to payments being made on time, with prompt communication. We will establish those details once we come to an agreement. Also note that I am verified on LinkedIn, so my name is real (but I never use LinkedIn, I hate it)... And here is a recent video of me for more proof, at a site where I sell kefir grains, in case we meet in person for any of this... I can do my services remotely or in person, depending on what you need (scroll down to "Services"). If something is NOT in our agreement (via contract or email), then it isn't included in my services. So be clear with what you need, because I only charge based on the specific services you ask for. Anything beyond that may increase the price, but if it's super small and within the scope anyway, then I'm okay without doing that.
What you get: everything you paid for, on time, on budget, with no hidden costs, or else your money back, or finished at my own expense. Updates to completion every 3-7 days are included, but bigger projects will establish different times through our email, or contract.
Contract vs. Email: everything is subject to your project requirements, but HUGE projects usually require a small contract in plain English. A typical contract for a large project is about 2-5 pages, but small projects like a basic website can be done through an agreement by email (no fancy contract). It all depends on what you want, but you must pay in milestones as I describe below.
Payment milestones: there are usually 2-3 milestones where you pay. They're usually done in 1/2's or 1/3's of the total project price: first to start, second on first draft, and third upon completing everything in our agreement.
Payment types: I accept Cash in USD, Zelle, Credit, Debit, Check, Money Order, Gold, Silver, and Cryptocurrency (see bottom of every page, certain ones subject to approval).
Discounts: you get 5% off if you pay with Cash, Gold, or Silver. All others are 5% more. If you want the discount, we'll meet at a local library room or something similar, and I'll give you a receipt as proof of payment. Although if you do Gold or Silver, I will want to test them first in front of you via sound, weight, and shape.
Time to start: physical payment methods also get me to start the project immediately. Anything else may have a hold until the payment clears (usually 3-7 days).
Time to complete: you will get this in our agreement (contract or email), but a basic website is usually done within 2 weeks or less, subject to your requirements. HUGE projects with lots of custom programming, heavy graphics, etc. can all take much longer.
